Building a house should be a fun and exciting time for you, so we have created a step by step process dedicated to making this a smooth and seamless experience!
Process of Buying a Lot and Bringing Your Own Builder
Step 1
Tour lots with our real estate consultant Jordan Bishop, or your realtor, with a scheduled showing, and become familiar with all that Inspiration at Swan Creek has to offer.
Step 2
Bring your own builder to help craft your own house, or work with Inspiration Homes.
Step 3
Identify the lot of interest and secure it with an Offer to Purchase.
Process for Finding a Lot and Building with Inspiration Homes
Step 1
Tour lots with our real estate consultant Jordan Bishop (or your realtor with a scheduled showing) and become familiar with all that Inspiration at Swan Creek has to offer.
Step 2
Review Inspiration Homes’ available floor plans to determine the most desirable layout for you.
Step 3
Identify the lot of interest and secure it with an Offer to Purchase
Step 4
Within 3 weeks after offer acceptance, meet with your assigned personal designer from Inspiration Homes’ Design team, locally provided by Linen & Clove, and make your final design selections at our design studio to personalize your floor plan.
Step 5
4 weeks after offer acceptance, conduct a Pre-Construction meeting with your personal builder to go over your floor plan in further detail.
Step 6
3 months after offer acceptance do your pre-drywall walkthrough prior to closing up all walls.
Step 7
Receive your closing date 30 days prior to closing, and schedule closing at a convenient time for you.
Step 8
1 week before closing, meet with your personal builder to do your Home Orientation and Punch List Walkthrough. This is your opportunity to learn more about the house and all that you will need post-closing; as well as your time to ensure any last components of the house are completed to your liking.
Step 9
Final walkthrough and closing day!!!
Step 10
60 day post-closing walkthrough if needed to address any minor items that may have come up to guarantee great quality and service.
Step 11
11 month post-closing walkthrough to address any items that may present themselves over the settling season – this is where drywall cracks and nail pops could be corrected if applicable to further commit to this being a seamless and professional process.
